Carmelite Institute Academic Calendar 2020-1

ByCarmelite Priory Mdina | In News

Dear friends,

Despite the present Coronavirus pandemic, the Carmelite Institute Malta is cautiously venturing into another academic year of seminars in the vast field of Spirituality. While it is important to immerse oneself in learning new things and reflect on the essentials of life, especially during these times, now, more than ever, is the moment to come together to share, reflect, and read the signs of the times vis-a-vis the spiritual life. With health and safety precautions put in place, the Institute has invested also in extensive wi-fi connectivity at the Priory so that our activities could be followed both onsite for a restricted number of people (up to 15, upon prior booking) as well as virtually through Zoom.

Hence, the Higher Education Award in Carmelite Spirituality will not be offered this year. Instead, individual Day or Residential Seminars as well as a Short Course on the main principles of Josephology (i.e. the theological study of the figure of St Joseph) are being organised. Each seminar/course is open to the public with no prior requisites as regards to qualifications. Participation is free but prior registration is obligatory for each seminar one intends to attend. Zoom links will only be offered to those who book via the Institute’s email.

While I augur health and peace, I hope we could somehow meet and share this most particular upcoming academic year together.

Kind regards and God bless,

Glen Attard O.Carm.
Executive Director
