A Reading Group will run monthly during 2014, starting on Sunday 9th February. The group is open to all who are interested in exploring the interactions between religion, culture and politics and the ways religious values and identities affect social outcomes in terms of both individual action and institutional change.
The group will read and discuss selected articles and book chapters from both classical works and more recent texts, with a special focus on the work of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
The FIRST meeting will take place on Sunday 9th February from 19:00 at The Priory, Mdina. Our text is Benedict XVI’s REGENSBURG LECTURE – a short but vital papal statement on international affairs, freely accessible via the Vatican website.
