It was the synthesis of a history full of deep wounds that are still hurting … and also the synthesis of the full truth about man. All this came together in a single heart that remained restless and unfulfilled until it finally found rest in God.”

Louise Laferla is a pharmacist by profession. After completing a course on Ignatian Spirituality, she read Theology at the University of Malta, taking St Edith Stein as her subject for the Master’s dissertation. Currently, she is a board member of the Pastoral Formation Institute and also offers spiritual accompaniment in the Ignatian way. She is married to Ivan and has two sons.
