Holy Week and the Easter Season are at the doorstep. Spring brings a sense of new life. Alongside the seasonal natural cycle we relive in faith our new life in Christ through the ritual celebration of the mystery of Jesus Passion, Death and Resurrection. The celebrations andevents at the Priory want to enable us to deepen our commitment to make another step forward towards the new life in Christ. Celebrations start on the 15th March, to mark Spring with a Bee day at the Priory.
This time brings also with it a festive atmosphere. Starting with beautiful feast of St. Joseph and the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord to Mary before turning to the sobriety of Holy Week.
To celebrate this season also at the Priory we have set up a program of activities to help us live this time with human and spiritual intensity. Besides the ongoing Catechesis on Confessionon Wednesdays at 8pm we will be having Lenten talks from 9 to 13 March at 6.30pm. On the 13th of March at 7.30pm we will be having a talk by Mario Azzopardi on St Teresa of Jesus. To commemorate the feast of St. Joseph in our church we will have three days of preparation from 16 to 18 March at the 7am Mass with prayers and reflection on St. Joseph. Wednesday 18 March, we will celebrate vespers and the 5.30pm Massin honour of St. Joseph. On March 21we will start preparing for the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord on the 25th March.
While we invite you to take part in the life of the Priory we wish you a holy Easter, sanctified through our participation in the sacraments of the Church.
